As part of Cork Culture Night, Nano Nagle Place hosts a screening of Drowned Land.

Only a decade after the U.S. Government forced the Choctaws on the Trail of Tears, in 1847 members of the Choctaw Nation sent $172 to citizens of County Cork, Ireland during the Great Famine. Since, the two nations have strengthened a diplomatic relationship based in international aid, kinship and solidarity.

Screening Drowned Land in Cork is a meaningful act of cross-cultural exchange and reciprocity.
